Hearthside is designed to keep presence light. We aim to collect only what is needed to run quiet rooms: a display name, optional profile details you choose to share, session history on your account, and technical data required to keep seats and audio working.

Your camera and microphone are never used by the product. We do not build a social graph of followers, and we do not sell your focus history as advertising fuel.

In Demo Mode (when Supabase is not configured), data stays on your device in local storage. With Supabase connected, account data is stored in your project’s database under the policies described in our schema.

You can edit your profile, erase session history, block other users and request account deletion from Settings. Exact retention periods and subprocessors will be documented after legal review.
